Musical Director
Robin began their work in theatre as a woodwind player, performing in shows such as ‘Julius Caesar’ (Royal Shakespeare Theatre) and ‘Sweet Charity’ (Shaw Theatre). Robin worked as musical director and keys player for numerous amateur dramatic societies in the northwest. Notable credits include: 'Footloose' (Carriageworks Theatre), ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ (City Varieties Music Hall) and ‘Bonnie & Clyde’ (Lawrence Batley Theatre). Following this Robin was fortunate to work as an accompanist in New York, working with the Broadway casts of ‘Wicked’, ‘Big Fish’ and ‘The Lion King’. Robin has branched out into writing their own musicals including ‘High Hopes’ (UK Tour) and ‘High Heels & Bass Squeals’ (The Other Palace). Robin has been musical director for the past 3 years at The Gaiety Theatre (Isle of Man) for their annual pantomime; 'Wizard of Oz', 'Aladdin' and 'Dick Whittington'.
